The 2020-21 Cen-Tex Middle School district will have a different look this upcoming season with the addition of several schools. The district has expanded to 16 schools and will be divided into two divisions. Joining the current schools will be Belton M.S. (Belton ISD), Cesar Chavez M.S., G.W. Carver M.S., Indian Springs M.S., Tennyson M.S.

WACO – The Lamar Lady Bearcat 7th and 8th grade cross country teams participated in the Cen-Tex Middle School Cross Country Championships on Wednesday at the HOT Soccer Complex in Waco. ROGERS – The Lamar Lady Bearcat 7th and 8th grade cross country teams participated the Rogers Invitational on Saturday morning. As a team the, Lamar finished in 8th Place overall out of 12 teams participating. MCGREGOR – The Lamar Lady Bearcat 7th and 8th grade cross country teams participated the McGregor Invitational on Saturday morning. As a team the, Lamar finished in 16th Place overall out of 24 teams participating. Emily Bachicha had the top performance on the day for the Lady Bearcats as she placed 33rd out of 238 runners. Bachicha’s time for the 2 mile course was 14:57.

TISD Free Athletic Physicals for the 2018-19 school year will be provided on Monday, April 16th, 2018 beginning around 5pm in the Temple High School gyms.  UIL requires that all incoming 7th, 9th, and 11th grade student athletes must have a new Pre-Participation Physical.  Students must bring a completed medical history form signed by the parent
