JV Girls Cross Country results from the 12-6A Championships

The Tem-Cat Junior Varsity Cross Country team participated in the District 12-6A Cross Country Championships on Thursday at Heritage Park in Belton. The Tem-Cats took 4th Place in the overall team standings. Arasely Avila was the top runner for the Tem-Cats as she placed 8th in the individual standings. Avila completed the 3 mile course in a time of 22:15.

HEWITT – The Tem-Cat Junior Varsity Cross Country team traveled to Hewitt on Friday to participate in the Kiwanis Meet hosted by Midway ISD. The Tem-Cats took 5th Place in the overall team standings. HARKER HEIGHTS – The Tem-Cat Junior Varsity Cross Country team took 3rd place at the Ellison Invitational on Friday at Dana Peak Park on the strength of Darby Rapp’s 1st Place performance. Rapp, a freshman won the gold medal by finishing the course in a time of 14:20 which was 16 seconds ahead of the second place finisher.

The Temple Athletic Department would like to announce the 2020 schedule for the Tem-Cat Cross Country team.

High School cross country starts August 3rd

The Tem-Cat and Wildcat Cross Country teams will begin practice on August 3rd.  Those athletes who have completed all their rank one forms and are eligible will report at 6:30 a.m in the main gym.  Step by step instructions for completing the forms is on Wildcatstrong.com.
