Cross Country results from the Pflugerville Invitational

PFLUGERVILLE – The Wildcat and Tem-Cat varsity cross country team finished 6th and 10th respectively at the Pflugerville Invitational. S  The Wildcat and Tem-Cat Cross Country teams finished 9th and 13th respectively at the Belton Invitational.  Luis Rojas was the top finisher for the Cats placing 18th in a time of 17:34.  Rounding out the scoring for boys were Carlos Torres(48th, 18:30), Tyson Tamez(54th, 18:38), Chuey Hernandez(56th, 18:41) and Austin Madsen(58th, 18:44).  Other top finishers

The Temple boys and girls cross country teams will open the 2019 season on Friday, August 16th when they host the Temple Invitational at Lions Park in Temple beginning at 7:30 am. 37 schools will be represented at the meet with various classifications competing at the varsity and junior varsity levels. The JV Boys and Girls Cross Country teams claimed 1st place at the Gatesville Meet. The Wildcats were led by silver medalist, Isaiah Padilla (20:10) and bronze medalist Kyler Vasek (20:13).  Medalists Jayquan Head (6th), Carlos Torres (8th) and Nelson Soto (13th) rounded out the scoring for the Cats.  The boys scored a season low
