Dallas Robertson named head baseball coach

Five district titles, 116 wins and now heading back home for Athens baseball coach Dallas Robertson. The former skipper of the Hornets accepted a job at Temple High School. Robertson said he was not looking to move but could not turn down the offer. He will become the new baseball and assistant varsity football coach.

Rumfield named top offensive player in 18-5A

The District 18-5A All-District selections were recently announced and several Wildcats were honored for their production this past season. Senior TJ Rumfield was named the District 18-5A Offensive Player of the Year to earn top individual honors. Rumfield’s pitching not enough for Temple to stave off Ennis

BELTON — T.J. Rumfield couldn’t pitch all day, although he had the stuff to do so. Those pitch counts, though. And Ennis just didn’t go away.
