Rumfield’s pitching not enough for Temple to stave off Ennis

BELTON — T.J. Rumfield couldn’t pitch all day, although he had the stuff to do so. Those pitch counts, though. And Ennis just didn’t go away. Rumfield dealt 11 innings of nearly untouchable two-hit ball Saturday, including a seven-inning, six-strikeout shutout in Temple’s 2-0 victory to even its Class 5A bi-district series against the Lions.
