Bonham girls 7th grade cross country takes 2nd at the District Meet

HEWITT – The Bonham Lady Bulldog 7th grade cross country team earned a 2nd Place finish in the Cen-Tex Middle School Cross Country Championships on Wednesday in Hewitt. Aaron Wagaman was a productive and valued member of Temple’s football team as a freshman, sophomore and junior as he kicked 20 field goals and 174 extra points for three playoff squads. However, kicking the pigskin through the uprights on PATs and short- to mid-range field goals was all that Wagaman was asked to do.

Lamar girls 8th grade cross country results from the District Meet

HEWITT – The Lamar Lady Bearcat 8th grade cross country teams participated in the Cen-Tex Middle School Cross Country Championships on Wednesday in Hewitt. The Lady Bearcats had two performers at the championships. Dejah Thomas finished in 26th place with a time of 19:53 in the two mile course while Jazmine Reynolds placed 30th in a time of 26:33.

Lamar girls 7th grade cross country results from the District Meet

HEWITT – The Lamar Lady Bearcat 7th grade cross country teams participated in the Cen-Tex Middle School Cross Country Championships on Wednesday in Hewitt. Kaurie Holleman had the top performance on the day for the Lady Bearcats as she finished in 30th place with a time of 21:47. The Travis Science Academy 8th grade football teams hosted the Lake Belton at Bonham Middle School on Tuesday night. Travis was dominant in recording to wins over the Brochos. The Lamar 8th grade football teams hosted South Belton on Tuesday night at Woodson Field. The Bearcats looked strong in dominating fashion in taking two games from the Tigers.
