KILLEEN – Temple finished the second day of the Killeen ISD baseball tournament with a pair of victories on Saturday. Temple defeated former district opponent Killeen Ellison 2-1 in their opener and came back later to knock off Lorena 8-4. Temple had a successful weekend as they went 3-0-1 in their four games in the tournament.

Temple won their opening game by defeating Wortham 6-3 and tied Killeen Shoemaker 2-2 in a game called after nine innings. COLLEGE STATION – The Wildcat baseball team failed to maintain the momentum from Fridays pair of victories as they dropped a pair of games on Saturday to close the Bryan tournament.
