Boys Varsity Cross Country · Wildcat Cross Country finishes 12th at regionals

ARLINGTON – The Temple boys cross country closed out the 2020 season on Tuesday with a 12th place finish at the Class 6A Region II  Championships.

The Wildcats were led by sophomore Tyson Tamez who finished 51st overall in a time of 16:58. Rodolpho Rodriguez 74th (17:46), Leon Hudson 78th (18:01, Seth Orf 79th (18:04, D’Andre Jackson 91st (18:28), Kevin Myers 93rd (18:30 and Keeran Butler 98th (18:46).

Coach Melvin was very pleased with their effort along with the progress the team made over the season. He looks forward to the future of Wildcat Cross Country with the entire team being underclassmen including four sophomores and two freshman.
