Girls Varsity Volleyball · Tem-Cats drop match at Belton

BELTON – The Temple and Belton girls volleyball teams locked up with a spirited matchup on Friday at Tiger Gym in Belton. Although each game was a nail-biter, in the end Belton defeated Temple by a score of 25-22, 25-22, 25-16.

Paysee Crow led the Tem-Cats with a team high 8 kills while also collecting 8 digs and 2 blocks. Bella Brae had a team high 15 digs while Kenna Fort had a team high 7 assist  to go along with 7 digs, 2 kills and a block. Ali Mack had a team high 4 blocks for the Tem-Cats while Lyric Biggiers had 3 blocks. Jessica Vaden had 6 kills, 5 digs and a block while Hayli Hesse had 2 kills and Faith Farbo 4 digs.

Temple fell to 3-7 in district play and 11-21 on the season. The Tem-Cats with travel to Waco on Tuesday to take on the Lady Lions beginning at 6:30 pm.
