Girls Varsity Volleyball · Tem-Cats go 0-2 on final day of Westwood Showcase

ROUND ROCK – The Temple volleyball team dropped two games on Saturday in the final day of competition in the Westwood Showcase. The Tem-Cats were coming into today on a three game win streak but came up short in their contest with Navarro and Bastrop.

Temple lost their opening game to Navarro by score of 25-22, 25-16. Paysee Crow had a solid contest with 12 assist, 2 kills and 2 digs. Bella Brea chipped in 5 kills and 6 digs; Faith Farbo 6 digs and Jessica Vaden 4 kills and 3 digs.

In their second game, Temple fell to Bastrop 25-22, 25-18. Paysee Crow had 5 kills, 9 assist, 4 digs and 3 blocks. Bella Brea, 4 kills, 5 digs and 2 blocks; Hayli Hesse 4 kills; Khia Kirkwood 4 blocks. Ali Mack and Jessica Vaden also chipped in 3 blocks apiece.

Temple fell to 3-6 on the season and will host Robinson on Monday at Wildcat Gym. Start time is scheduled for 6 pm.
