Girls Varsity Basketball · LeBlanc elevated to role of Girls Athletic Coordinator


Temple ISD has selected RaShonta LeBlanc for the position of Girls’ Athletic Coordinator. This position will be responsible for all girls’ programs and include such duties as developing a Gender Equity Facilities Plan and ensuring a constant level of support and oversight for girls’ athletics at the middle and high school levels. This includes the areas of personnel, budget and related student services.

Coach LeBlanc received her Bachelor of Science in General Business Administration for Louisiana State University in 2008. In 2018, she obtained a Master of Education with concentration is Sports Administration from Concordia University Texas.

At LSU, Coach LeBlanc participated on a Women’s Basketball team that won 3 SEC Champions and competed in 4 Final Fours. She started her career in Port Arthur ISD where she served at teacher and coach. She joined the Temple ISD team in 2018 as the Head Girls’ Basketball Coach. While serving as Girls’ Athletic Coordinator, she will continue to lead to Tem-Cats as head coach.

Coach LeBlanc is excited about the opportunity to work with the students and staff of the athletic department as well as the community. We welcome her to this new role.
