Boys 8th Grade Travis Track · Travis 8th grade boys track takes 3rd at the the District Meet


The Travis 8th grade boys track & field team took 3rd Place in the Central Texas Track & Field Championships held at Panther Stadium in Hewitt.

Travis scored 121 points in the team standings while North Belton Middle School took 1st Place with 135 points.

Travis collected 4 gold medals and 2 silver medals on the evening. Tyson Tamez claimed two gold medals in winning the 800 and 1600 meter runs while Eric Ortiz won the 300 hurdles. Travis’ 4×200 relay team took gold in their event.
