BROCK — One mistake can be costly. Multiple mistakes can lead directly to the end of the season.
Temple is hoping the miscues it had Friday afternoon are not duplicated now that the Wildcats trail Ennis after a mistake-plagued performance helped the Lions claim a 2-0 victory in Game 1 of the team’s Class 5A bi-district best-of-three series.
“We were our own worst enemy today,” Temple coach Toby Rumfield said. “But this is why we play a series. In case we lose game one, we can bounce back.”
