Boys 7th Grade Travis Track · Travis 7th Grade Boys take 2nd at the District Meet


COPPERAS COVE – The Travis Science Academy 7th grade boys track & field team participated in the Central Texas Junior High District Track Meet on Monday and Tuesday at Bulldawg Stadium in Copperas Cove.

The Mustangs finished in 2nd Place with 112 points in the team standings behind North Belton who took first with 149 points.

The Mustangs evening was highlighted by a pair of gold medal performances from Tyson Tamez in the 800 meters and J’Kwon Collins in the 110 hurdles. Travis also collected 2 silver medals and 5 bronze medals.
