Girls 8th Grade Lamar Track · Lamar Girls 8th Grade 3rd at the Travis Invitational


The Lamar Lady Bearcats 8th grade girls track & field team participated in the Travis Invitational held at Wildcat Stadium on Thursday.

The Lady Bearcats finished in 3rd Place with 103.5 points in the team standings. Travis was first with 119 and Midway second with 111.

The Lady Bearcats won 6 gold medals on the day which included Ali Mack winning three (Long Jump, 100 & 300 hurdles), Jasmine Calvery (discus, shot put) and Nadia Mireles in the 800 meters>

Lamar will compete in the District Meet which will be held on Monday and Tuesday at Bulldawg Stadium in Copperas Cove.
