The Travis Mustangs played the Bonham Bulldogs in middle school football action this week.The city rivalry played well for the Mustangs as Travis went 4-0 against the Bulldogs. Here are the results from this weeks games.

8th Grade A
Travis – 30, Bonham – 0

The Travis 8th Grade A team game defeated Bonham by a score of 30-0 at Wildcat Stadium.

Tavaris Sullivan led the offensive attack with touchdown runs of 10, 20 and 25 yards while Lemichael Thompson added a 20 yard scoring run.

Defensive standouts for the Mustangs were Jalen Wardale, Marquise McQueen and Kaleb Hill.

Travis improved to 3-2 on the season.

8th Grade B
Travis – 20, Bonham – 6

The Travis 8th Grade B team defeated Bonham by a score of 20-6  at Wildcat Stadium on Tuesday night.

Offensive standouts for the Mustangs were Jaden Jackson with touchdown runs of 10 and 15 yards while Adonis Green scored on a 30 yard touchdown run.

Defensive Standouts for the Mustangs were  Grant Langfeld with an interception, Colton Rankin and Nathan Lim.


Travis is now 4-1 on the season.

7th Grade A
Travis – 44, Bonham – 0

The Travis 7th Grade A team defeated Bonham by a score of 44-0 on Monday night at Wildcat Stadium.

Scores for the Mustangs came on a Taurean York 20 yard run, Charlie Lujan 3 yard run, Jonathan De La Garza 25 yard run and Tyson Tamez runs of 2 and 10 yards.

Defensive standouts for Travis were: Mikal Harrison-Pilot, DeJohn Thomas and Elgin Ferris.


Travis improves to 6-0 on the season.

7th Grade B
Travis – 13, Bonham- 0

Travis 7th Grade B team defeated Bonham by a score of 13-0 on Monday night at Wildcat Stadium.

Travis got a touchdown run of 10 yards from Javarrus Mackey and a 10 yard touchdown pass from Mackey to Eusebio Espinoza.

Defensive standouts were Ethan Burrier, Tyson Tindle and Houston Knopp.


Travis improved to 5-0-1 on the season.

Travis will face Midway Blue next week. The 7th grade will play in Hewitt on Monday while the 8th grade will play at Woodson Field on Tuesday.
