Girls 7th Grade Travis Cross Country, Girls 8th Grade Travis Cross Country · Travis girls cross country closes out season with improvement


WACO – The Travis girls 7th and 8th grade cross country team closed the season on Wednesday at the Centex District Championships held at the Heart of Texas Soccer Complex in Waco.

The 8th grade girls came in 9th place overall. Alexandra Camacho came in 42nd place with a time of 17:33.09 improving her time by 3 minutes, Jaqueline Lopez came in 61st place with a time of 20:13.28 improving her time by 2 minutes, Jasmine Martinez came in 68th place with a time of 21:46.67 improving her time by 4 minutes, Jennifer Hernandez came in 58th place with a time of 19:52.91 improving her time by 2 minutes, Iryanna Gonzales came in 39th place with a time of 15:58.24 improving her time by 3 minutes. Sierras Rains  and in 63rs with a time of 20:54.23 improving her time by a minute.

The 7th grade girls came in 9th place overall. Emily Messier came in 95th place with a time of 21:05.72 improving her time by 4 minutes, Marissa Meyer came in 105th with a time of 23:37.48 improving her time by 5 minutes, Joanna Cruz came in 66th place with a time of 17:39.40 improving her time by 2 minutes, Creizanae Simmons came in 23rd place with a time of 15:39.82 improving her time by 5 minutes, Grace Anderson came in 102nd place with a time of 21:54.79 improving her time 4 minutes, Tiara are Halliburton came in 93rd place with a time of 20:53.05 improving her time by 2 minutes.
