The Travis Mustangs played the Lamar Bearcats in middle school football action this week.Here are the results from this weeks games.

8th Grade A
Travis – 0, Lamar – 22

The Travis 8th Grade A team game fell to Lamar 22-0 following a scoreless first half of play.

Offensive standouts for the Mustangs were Tavaris Sullivans and Kobe Smith.

Defensive standouts for the Mustangs were Tavaris Sullivan, Cody Corbin and Carlos Littlejohn.

Travis fell to 2-2 on the season.

8th Grade B
Travis – 0, Lamar – 19

The Travis 8th Grade B team fell to Lamar by a score of 19-0 at Wildcat Stadium on Tuesday night.

Offensive standouts for the Mustangs were Jarrell walker and Adonis Green

Defensive Standouts for the Mustangs were Grant Langfeld, Nathan Lim and Colton Rankin


Travis is now 3-1 on the season.

7th Grade A
Travis – 47, Lamar – 0

The Travis 7th Grade A team defeated Lamar by a score of 47-0 on Monday night at Wildcat Stadium.

Scores for the Mustangs came on a Mikal Harrison-Pilot 37 yard TD run; D’Arius Wilkerson touchdown runs of 7 and 1 yard; Jonathan De La Garza 10 yard TD run; Mikal Harrison-Pilot 30 yard interception return for touchdown and Taurean York returning a blocked punt 30 yards for a touchdown.

Defensive standouts for Travis were: Naeten Mitchell, Taurean York and Joshua Donoso.

Travis improves to 5-0 on the season.

7th Grade B
Travis – 35, Lamar – 0

Travis 7th Grade B team defeated Lamar by a score of 35-0 on Monday night at Wildcat Stadium.

Travis got touchdown runs from Eusebio Espinoza (25 yards); J’Kwon Collins (50 yards) and Christian Farrell (10 yards). Carlos Deleon also returned a fumble 50 yards for a touchdown and Eusebia Espinoza tossed a 12 yard touchdown pass to J’Kwon Collins.

Defensive standouts were Ethan Burrier, Quin’Anthony Taplin and Evan Machuca.

Travis improved to 4-0-1 on the season.

Travis will face Bonham next week. All games will be played at Wildcat Stadium.
