Multiple Teams · Temple middle school results from the Killeen Tournament

The Temple Middle School volleyball programs participated in the Killeen ISD Tournament on Thursday and Saturday last week. Here are some of the results from last weeks action.


8th Grade A

The Bonham 8th Grade went 3-1 in the tournament and opened on Thursday night with a win at Rancier

Saturday, Bonham defeated Eastern Hills 25-11, 25-20 with the Player of the Game going to Nadia Saunders. Game 2 saw the Lady Bulldogs fall to Live Oak 25-14, 18-25, 13-15, Player of the Game was Chloe Prentiss. In the final game of the day, Bonham defeated Audie Murphy 25-18, 25-16, Player of the Game was Addison King.

7th Grade A

The Bonham 7th Grade went 2-1 with a Thursday win at Rancier.

On Saturday, The Lady Bulldogs defeated Eastern Hills 25-17, 25-27, 15-5 as Ella Hendi was the Player of the Game. Game 2 saw Bonham fall to Union Grove 25-3, 25-5.


8th Grade A

The Lamar 8th Grade fell to Roy Smith M.S. on Thursday night and on Saturday dropped a pair of very hard fought matches in 3 games. On Saturday, the Lady Bearcats fell to Union Grove 25-17, 19-25, 15-12 and later to Travis 23-25, 25-1, 15-4.

The Players of the Tournament were Ali Mack and Vanessa Caldera.

7th Grade A

The Lamar 7th Grade went 2-1 in the Killeen Tournament falling an opening round loss to Roy Smith M.S. On Saturday, Lamar defeated Nolan 25-23, 25-15 and Patterson 25-23, 25-20.

Players of the Tournament were Malaya President and Amya Govan.


8th Grade A

The Travis 8th Grade A went 3-1 in the Killeen Tournament with an opening round win over Palo Alto M.S. 25-16, 25-15.

On Saturday, The Lady Mustangs lost their opener to Liberty Hill 21-25, 25-22, 13-25 and bounced back with a pair of victories. Travis defeated Lamar 23-25, 25-10, 15-4 and Nolan 25-11, 25-18.

7th Grade A

The Travis 7th Grade went 1-2 in the Killeen Tournament with an opening round win over Palo Alto 25-18, 25-22.

On Saturday, the Lady Mustangs dropped a pair of very hard fought matches. Travis fell to Audie Murphy 25-23, 17-25, 3-15 and later to Nolan 26-24, 26-24.
