BELTON – The Temple junior varsity boys track & field team participated in the Big Red Relays on Saturday in Belton and took fourth place in the standings with a team total of 94 points.
The Wildcats walked away with three first place finishes in individual events and two first place finishes in the relay events.
In the individual events, Anthony Jackson took 1st Place in the 100 meters with a time of 11.51 while Tre Hawkins took first in the 200 meters (23.41) and Gunnar Coley won the 110 hurdles with a time of 17.06.
Temple also earned two relay team titles, the 4×100 relay team of Nathan Garcia, Monto President, Dwight Roberts and Anthony Jackson took first in a time of 44.68 and the 4×200 relay team of Anthony Jackson, Monto President, Antonio Hernandez and Dwight Roberts ran a time of 1:34.14.
The Wildcats also had many other athletes place in their respective events. Those included are:

Demarco Williams 6th – 400 Meters (55.34)
Gunnar Coley 4th – 300 Hurdles (45.39)
4×400 Relay (Nathan Garcia, Demarco Williams, Gunnar Coley, Caleb Cook) 3rd (3:42.36)
Mark Ochoa 6th – Pole Vault (9’6)
Nathan Garcia 3rd – Long Jump (19’3 1/2)
Markel Reed 6th – Long Jump (18’11)
Antoine Holiday 3rd – Shot Put (28’0 1/2)
Temple returns to action next Saturday as they will host the Temple Invitational at Wildcat Stadium beginning at 9 am.
