Girls Junior Varsity Cross Country, Girls Varsity Cross Country · Rynard’s 7th Place finish leads Tem-Cats


Ashley Rynard continued her Top 10 finishes as Rynard took 7th place at the Belton Invitational on Thursday.

Rynard, whose time of 19:57, led the Tem-Cat Cross Country team to a 6th Place overall finish running at Temple’s Wildflower Country Club.

Leander Vandergrift took the overall team title and Brooke Gilmore of Belton was 1st overall in a time of 18:47 out of a field of 129 participants.

Samantha Brewer finished in a time of 20:54 good enough for 26th place. She was closely followed by Arleth Subria in 31st at 21:09.

Cecelia Gomez (22:06) and Yesenia Calvillo-Munoz (22:08) took 57th and 58th respectively. Rounding out the varsity team were Analaura Carrillo (77) 24:00 and Deidre Nicholes (81) 25:33.

The JV Girls took 7th out of 17 teams with Anna Vivatson taking 17th overall and Ajah McNeil 36th.
