Travis 7th grade boys take 2nd at the District Meet

The Travis Science Academy boys 7th and 8th grade cross country teams participated in the Centex District Championships on Wednesday at the Heart of Texas Soccer Fields in Waco.

Chester Herring, representing the 8th grade came in 19th place with a time of 13:33.22,  improving his overall time by 3 minutes.

The 7th grade boys: finished 2nd place overall as a team. Anthony Soto finished in 19th place with a time of 13:56.89, Eusebio Espinoza finished in 10th place with a time of 13:02.34, Tyson Tamez finished 8th place with a time of 12:57.44, Josiah Hernandez finished 46th place with a time of 15:07.68, Charlie Lujan finished 39th place with a time of 14:46.06, Joshua Donoso finished 27th place with a time of 14:15.12, Rudolfo Rodriguez finished 4th place with a best time of 12:43.16.
