Tem-Cats win thriller at Bryan in five games

BRYAN- The Tem-Cat Volleyball team picked a big win on the road Tuesday night as they defeated Bryan 28-26, 25-19, 24-26, 22-25, 15-12.

The victory improved Temple to 5-4 in 18-5A play. The Tem-Cats currently in fourth place, hold a two game lead over fifth place Bryan Rudder (3-6) which fell to A&M Consolidated.

Several of the outstanding performances for the Tem-Cats were:

Kenna Fort 12 service points,10 digs, 3 kills  21 assist
Lauren Bailey 22 service points 24 digs
Jessica Vaden 19 service points 26 digs 11 kills 1 block
Autumn Dowell 16 service points 3 aces,  7 digs 11 kills 6 blocks
Juliana Torres 15 service points 23 digs 5 kills
Alisha Nesbitt 6 kills 2 blocks

Temple improves to 19-14 on the season and will host Waco High on Friday at Wildcat Gym beginning at 6:30 pm.
