Temple vs. Consolidated 107

The Temple boys basketball team closed out their season Tuesday night with a 47-43 loss to A&M Consolidated at Wildcats Gym. The Wildcats finished with a season record of 12-22 and a district record of 2-10.

The Wildcats fell behind early as the Tigers jumped out to an 18-9 lead after the first quartet of play. However, a 15-11 run in the second quarter pulled the Wildcats to within 29-24 at the half.

Temple came out strong in the third quarter holding the Tigers to six points and trailed by only three, 35-32 going to the final quarter of play. Temple had a few opportunities late to tie the contest but the Tigers were able to hold off the Wildcats surge.

Wesley Shepperd led the Wildcats with 13 points in his final game. Clarence Sanders and Sabian Hill each had 7 while Jashawn Darden had 6 and Kenzell Williams finished with 4.
