Temple vs. Consolidated 056

The Temple freshman boys basketball team defeated A&M Consolidated on Tuesday night 67-60 and in the process won the District 18-5A freshman division championship. The Wildcat finished the season with an overall record of 23-2 and 11-1 in District 18-5A.

The Wildcats used a big second half by Elcid Smith who scored 18 of his game high 22 points after halftime. Jaeden Pate led the Wildcats to a 31-27 halftime lead by scoring all 17 of his points in the first half. Jacob Hudson also came up big in the scoring column tallying 12 points on the night.
