Temple vs. College Station 100

The Temple girls freshman basketball team suffered their first district loss of the season on Tuesday as they fell to College Station by a score of 40-29.

The Tem-Cats held a 16-11 lead a the half but strong second half surge by the Lady Cougars including a 17-4 fourth quarter was too much for the Tem-Cats to overcome.

Chloe Mayfield led the Tem-Cats with 8 points while Aniya Riggins had 7, Choice Roberts 5 and Kiara Nichols 4.

Temple fell to 3-1 in district play and 9-5 overall. The Tem-Cats will travel to Bryan on Tuesday to face the Lady Vikings beginning at 5:00.
