Travis vs. North Belton 015

The Travis Science Academy Mustangs played North Belton in middle school football action this week. Here are the results from this weeks games.

8th Grade A
Travis – 22, North Belton – 7

The Travis A team defaeted North Belton in a hard fought 22-7 contest. Travis offensively by  AJ McDuffy, Dylan Harty, and Luke Allen while the defensive standouts were Dylan Harty, Keon Williams, and Thomas McVade. Travis improved to 7-1 on the season.

8th Grade B
Travis – 0, North Belton – 13

The Travis B team fell to North Belton 13-0 and was led by Jacob Orneales who had 60 yards rushing.  Defensive Standouts for the Mustangs were Tyler Van Beber, David Reeders, and Aaron Perez. Travis goes to 4-3-1 on the season.

7th Grade A
Travis – 13, North Belton – 30

The Travis 7th grade A team fell to North Belton by a score of 30-13. The Mustangs were  led by LeMichael Thompson who had two rushing touchdowns.  Defensive standouts for Travis were Johnny Donoso, Syre Maxwell, and Cody Corbin. Travis fell to 5-2-1 on the season.

7th Grade B
Travis – 0, North Belton – 12

The Travis 7th Grade B team fell to North Belton 12-0. The Mustangs were led by Jaden Jackson who had 50 yards rushing.  Defensive standouts were Chase Kelly and Elijah Reyes. It was the first loss of the season for Travis and their record now stands at 7-1.

Travis will close out the season next week with South Belton. The 7th garde will be on the road Monday while the 8th grade will host South Belton on Tuesday. South Belton is currently undefeated and a Mustang victory would give them a share of the district title.
