Tem-Cats fall to Waco in hard fought five games

WACO –  The Tem-Cat volleyball team dropped a heartbreaking five game match with Waco on Friday as they fell to the Lady Lions by a score of 25-15, 23-25, 25-21, 21-25, 10-15.

Several of the outstanding performances from the Tem-Cats included Ariyan Johnson with 20 perfect passes, 8 digs, Rhea Miles10 service points 1 ace, 5 kills, Lauren Bailey 8 digs. Continuing the outstanding play were Jessica Vaden with 8 service points 2 aces 21 assists, 2 blocks, Autumn Dowell 7 service points 1 ace, 8 digs, 11 kills, 5 blocks, Juliana Torres 8 service points, 8 digs, 9 kills, 2 blocks, Alisha Nesbitt 11 service points 1 ace, 5 kills, 1 block and Carson Ingram with 29 service points 2 digs and 4 kills.

Temple fell to 9-17 on the season and 1-9 in District 18-5A play. Next up for Temple is a return trip to Waco on Tuesday to face University a 6:15.
